Naruto and his friends are back and have to get down to business again and show what real ninjas can do.
Really difficult, because this time an entire kingdom is in a tight spot.

The director of "Naruto The Movie 3 - The Guardians of the Crescent Moon Empire" in 2006 was Toshiyuki Tsuru ("Cowboy Bebop", "EscaFlowne") and once again takes us into a fictional, Asian world shaped by feudal states.

And so Naruto and his friends Sakura and Kakashi have to go on a journey in the third part. They team up with Rock Lee to accompany Prince Michiru and his son Hikari on their way back home to their crescent kingdom.
Easier said than done, because the royal lords quickly get on the nerves of the three.
