Welcome to the Splatsville district, a sweltering desert inhabited by battle-hardened Inklingen and Octolingen. At the heart of this dusty no-man's-land lies the city of chaos, Splatsville.

This desolate patch of earth is all about thrilling turf wars.* Adrenaline-pumping ink battles are fought in new arenas in the middle of the wilderness around Splatsville.

Fighters enter the color battle with dynamic new abilities that allow them to dodge attacks and color even more floor space. Their arsenal is expanded to include a bow-shaped weapon.

In Splatoon 3's story mode, you go into battle as No. 3 against the evil Octarian army. Discover the secrets of Alterna, the Fluffy Plasma, and its connection to the "Return of the Mammalians".

Salmon Run – The Next Wave

Expansion Pass - Call to Order
You wake up as No. 8 and find that Inkopolis Square has lost its color and all its inhabitants have disappeared. Together with Perla - one half of the musical duo TentaCool and now on the road as a drone - you'll climb the Tower of Order and hone your skills in a single-player experience designed to be played over and over again!

The higher you get, the more difficult the targets and enemies that want to stop you become. Place color chips on your palette as you see fit, and get upgrades like higher blot force, higher smudge rate, Perla Drone upgrades, and more!

If you fail, you have to start all over again. However, you can exchange the collected color chips for a currency and equip yourself with permanent upgrades. These upgrades could be just what you need to get to the top next time. What can you expect at the top?

Expansion Pass - Inkopolis
Declare the city of Inkopolis from Splatoon for Wii U your new turf! Here, the Sea Sirens provide the atmosphere during the Splatfeste. The stores here have the same assortment as the ones in Splatsville, so you are free to choose where you prefer to shop. The other modes and amiibo also work in the same way.
